This is the first edition of a two brand new volumes which list all the preserved locomotives and units of every country in Europe, and even few in North Africa! Several useful details are given for every item where known, including current and previous numbers, builder`s number, and present location. Due to the huge number of preserved locos and units listed, it has been necessary to publish two volumes as opposed to one. Countries have been listed in alphabetical order - volume 1 therefore covers countries from Albania to Hungary, and volume 2 from Italy to the countries of the former Yugoslavia. Due to the level of detail encompassed in these two books, it has been necessary to publish them in landscape format, as opposed to our usual portrait format.
